Interview with ADD Guitarist Dave Adams

We at SROMagInc.com recently talked with Dave Adams, the guitarist for the band A.D.D., (Analog Digital Disorder), a up and coming rock band hailing from Chicago Illinois. They've just released their 2nd CD titled, "Core", and Dave was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to take us behind the scenes of the creation of the new album, tour and A.D.D..

Their 2nd offering, "Core", has a unique but familiar sound with all new modern tones that sets this band apart from it piers. With a female lead vocalist and songs like "I Regret" and "Here me Now" you can hear the old school heavy rock base, but it is layered with new progressive metal that makes you really want to hear the next song.

"It went really smoothly" Dave said about the making of the new CD. He also talked about how the band comes up with new music and its distinctive sound. "Being a guitar player I bring a melody or "riff", or a couple "riffs" or a song format, then I'll present it to the rest of the band and everyone will chime in," He continued, "Vocally, Matilda (Moon -Vox) or Jeremy (Sparta - Guitars/Vox), or both will come up with a melody or lyric idea and they will put it to it and match it up depending on the mood of the song."

A.D.D. is currently on the road and have toured with some of the biggest and hardest rocking bands in the nation such as; Korn, Buckcherry, Halestorm, Sevendust just to name a few.
