2018 Welcome to Rockville
My name is Evie Star and I have had the honor & privilege of providing quality media footage including but not limited to audio & video interviews, photography, online pre-festival coverage and festival reviews consecutively since 2013. I am hoping that I once again have the privilege & honor of once again providing quality media for this incredible festival and as many of the performing bands that I possibly can.
Each and every year Danny Wimmer Presents & Monster Energy do a phenomenal job of growing and expanding this as well as many other outstanding music festivals as well including Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion, Rocklahoma & Rock On The Range. Each year brings new attractions, events, vendors, bands, etc that help to provide some of the most amazing experiences one could ever have all in one place during one weekend. And the best part of it all, in my opinion, is that in the midst of hundreds of thousands of people, it still feels perfectly intimate, almost like a massive family reunion of sorts only better.
For the first time ever, Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida will be a THREE day event which is absolutely stellar and exciting to me. The event will be held at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida from Friday, April 27, 2018- Sunday, April 29, 2018. Over 50 extraordinary bands will be performing for everyone’s entertainment. From bands that have been around for decades to much newer acts there is something way more than musically appealing for the masses. I, personally, am looking forward to watching as many of these insanely killer artists perform as possible.
