Review of Jared Weeks (Get Addicted to His New Groove)
If we have learned anything from Aaron Lewis and Darius Rucker, it is that if you are a talented enough musician you can switch genre's and be even more successful. Jared Weeks seems to be another example of this music phenominom. Weeks hit the music scene like a rocking metal hurricane in 2008 fronting the band Saving Abel. Week's sexy growling vocals and charismatic stage presence helped the band that Weeks helped create become a household name. The smash hit, "Addicted" instantly took over the air waves of Top 40, Rock, Alternative and Heavy Metal radio stations. In 2013, Weeks, being the generous person he is known to be, realized that he should should not be stingy with his amazing musical talent. He bid farewell to Saving Abel and became front man for the rock ballad writing legends in Hinder.
"You can take a boy out of the South, but you cant take the South out of the boy.", the old saying goes, and it might as well been wrote specifically about Jared. Jared Weeks could not longer silent the nagging call of the music of his roots, left Hinder and moved to Nashville in 2014. Weeks has the kind of vocal talent that is versatile enough to move seemlessly from hard rock, to rock-a-billy southern rock with a modern country music twist. Jared's love for his new musical path is apparent to his die hard fans,and from what fans are posting on social media sites, fans are aching to see his new groove live. I said it before, Jared Weeks is a giver, he cares about his fans wants and needs. He cares so much that he is hitting the road May 1st, 2015 to bring his fresh new sound to a venue near you.
Please don't ask me what his "fresh new sound" sounds like, you have the interwebs just like I do, look, find, listen and ahhhh enjoy! I can tell you that he has mixed the sexiness of ballad rock,the fun of David Allen Coe country and good old southern boy rock.
